Love Always! (A Letter To YEH)

To my ever dearest Yoon Eun Hye onni,

This letter is a long time in the writing. It was meant for you months ago, but has never been started until now...and I didn't want any more water to go under the bridge.

Onni, i am one of your many many fans, living far from Korea, loving you, supporting you and watching over you.
I have always known of you, but it was only through Xman and Coffee Prince that I really got to know you as a talented actress and a person who possess's a great personality that is both inspirational and praise worthy.

You were the first and only actress that ever influenced and inspired me in any way, to the point of obsession and I can't say more in this case than imitation being the most sincere form of flattery. Whats more, the fact that i wasnt alone and many others were also on the same YEH obsessed boat as me, in a sense was our way of accepting and appreciating the kind of work you have done.

This is the first time im writing a fan letter, and i wanted my first one to be to you.
I hope this fan letter gave you as much joy as youve given me... I also hope you felt even the tiniest bit of the feelings that you have given me - happiness, laughter and lots of love.
And always remember, Eun Hye onni, you may be just one person to the world, but to me and the rest of you're fans, you are the world!

Love Always,

Your loyal fan ^^

Thank You! (A Letter To YEH)

Dear Eunhye unnie,

I really really liked your character in goong. Even though it was your first drama, you enabled to feel for the character and for months after that, i was hoping for a sequel. (: However, now, i don't mind you not filming a goong 2 because your other dramas are really good too, and fill up the gap of the ending of goong. Despite what you think of yourself or what others say of you, you're very pretty and witty.

Thank you for introducing me to the Korean world, which im obsessed with now and made quite a few friends because of it. It also helped with the bonding in my class. (: You have made up a very big part of my life since 2006 when i first watched you acting in goong and are still my role model. I admire your perseverance which brought you to where you are today. I find it just amazing how you managed to improve each time i see you on screen and make the audience laugh and cry with you. I like the fact that you keep on improving and not only strive for the best awards and stuff, but mainly for personal achievement. I feel proud of you whenever you win an award and really anticipate your next project whatever it is. I am sure all of your fans feel the same way too.

I have always wondered what your philosophy on life was. In all the interviews and variety shows, you are shown to be someone who's really intelligent and able to say the right thing. I hope that I will be able to be like you too. You always seem to be so happy, so in control, confident and know exactly what your goals in life are. I really admire you for these points. This is a quote you said," Don't do what you love, but love what you're doing." I'll do my best to apply that to whatever im doing. Thank you unnie for everything!

love,
rainbowpup

Hwaiting! (A Letter To YEH)

Dear Ms. Yoon Eun Hye,

Annyong Haseyo! Ottoshimnikka? Chonun Rikka imnida. Im one of your fans here in the Philippines. You don't know how popular you are here. I've been your fan since Goong. I really love it! Until now, I still watch it in DVD all over again. You've been a part of all the changes in my life. Because of my addiction to you, Joo Ji Hoon and Goong, I met new friends from other countries. I've been more expose to Korean culture. You seem like a model to me. Your hardships just to be where you are now gave me more strength to achieve my dreams. I really hate your anti-fans during Baby VOX days. They don't know how to appreciate a great talent. I bet they felt ashamed now that you are succesful.

By the way, can I call you 'unnie'? I've been dreaming to call you that. I love your team-up w/ JJH! Im hoping you can end up together. Many of my friends(in the internet) felt the same way too.

There's this english forum that just talk about you. I hope you can visit it. It's not really big like soompi though.

Take care always of your health! Hwaiting!

An-yung-ha-say-oh! (A Letter To YEH)

Hello, my name is Urara and I am the author of this blog, YehEffect. I'm a guy, 20 years old, a student in California, and a fan.

It's always been fun (for awhile now) to do something to show support for the only actress I have felt an adoration unlike any other before. Watching Youtube videos, reading up the latest news, talking with fans of forums, and listening to songs. Your workings have a way of making me smile, laugh, and understand life (sometimes).

Your resilience, humility, ability, versatility, courage and heart have always been a great influence to the success of your career. Being attacked for joining Baby V.O.X., criticized about your weight, doubted in your acting capabilities and slandered by your own managment company, you really have gone through the heat and the flames to make it out more refined than ever.

Though there are those that might disagree with me, but the facts are there. Raking in 6th place out of the top 10 most paid Korean stars for 2007, with a USD $4,000,000 income from various endorsements, T.V. dramas and company contract, nobody can deny that your monetary success comes from the great popularity and support that you've garnered from the general public. Even in a poll deciding who the most popular female Korean celebrity in China is, receiving an astounding 2,811,769 votes compared to second placed, Han Chae Young, who got 809,706 votes should be telling enough.

Your records are impressive and achievements, amazing. But one thing, if ever we should note and remember about you is the kind of personality you have and the way you deal with people. Though I cannot say for certain that I am an expert on this topic, I think I have read and seen enough stories, interviews, videos and behind the scenes stuff to conclude that you're a loving person.

I'm not going to post any of those stories I have heard here (though it would be nice) but you yourself know.

However, there are times when we tend to get so caught up with the world and everything goes by so fast that we forget who we are. And so, I suggest that you would read up some of the fan's opinions of you, that maybe in those times of not knowing and wondering who we are exactly, you might find your way back again.

A fan of yours,

Urara
