An-yung-ha-say-oh! (A Letter To YEH)

Hello, my name is Urara and I am the author of this blog, YehEffect. I'm a guy, 20 years old, a student in California, and a fan.

It's always been fun (for awhile now) to do something to show support for the only actress I have felt an adoration unlike any other before. Watching Youtube videos, reading up the latest news, talking with fans of forums, and listening to songs. Your workings have a way of making me smile, laugh, and understand life (sometimes).

Your resilience, humility, ability, versatility, courage and heart have always been a great influence to the success of your career. Being attacked for joining Baby V.O.X., criticized about your weight, doubted in your acting capabilities and slandered by your own managment company, you really have gone through the heat and the flames to make it out more refined than ever.

Though there are those that might disagree with me, but the facts are there. Raking in 6th place out of the top 10 most paid Korean stars for 2007, with a USD $4,000,000 income from various endorsements, T.V. dramas and company contract, nobody can deny that your monetary success comes from the great popularity and support that you've garnered from the general public. Even in a poll deciding who the most popular female Korean celebrity in China is, receiving an astounding 2,811,769 votes compared to second placed, Han Chae Young, who got 809,706 votes should be telling enough.

Your records are impressive and achievements, amazing. But one thing, if ever we should note and remember about you is the kind of personality you have and the way you deal with people. Though I cannot say for certain that I am an expert on this topic, I think I have read and seen enough stories, interviews, videos and behind the scenes stuff to conclude that you're a loving person.

I'm not going to post any of those stories I have heard here (though it would be nice) but you yourself know.

However, there are times when we tend to get so caught up with the world and everything goes by so fast that we forget who we are. And so, I suggest that you would read up some of the fan's opinions of you, that maybe in those times of not knowing and wondering who we are exactly, you might find your way back again.

A fan of yours,

Urara
